“Today I went to school, after school I came home and Barbara called me up and she said she saw Vern and Brian on the bus and they told her to come down to the beach and Brian told her to bring some food and Vern told her to tell me to wear my bathing suit. So, I went down to Barbara’s house and we went down to Foodbasket and she bought some hot dogs and potato chips.

I didn’t wear my bathing suit because Barbara didn’t tell me to until I got to her house.

When we got down to the beach, Ray, Vern, Brian, Bonnie and some other guy was there. Vern said, ‘Norma, how come you don’t have your bikini?’ and I said ‘Because Barbara didn’t tell me until I got to her house’. and he said, ‘Oh! Barbara.’ Later, Bonnie and Barb and I walked down to the water and Bonnie said to me, ‘You know, my brother likes you.’ And I got all shook. At night, I didn’t go out. NORMA + VERN”
