“Today I went to school and me Sally and Connie was at the principals office for 2 ½ hours. Connie got kicked out of school for a day. In gym during showers, we had a fire drill and most of the kids had their gym clothes on but I was in the showers so I put my car coat on and went outside and the pea greens were out there from the shops and everybody was looking at me. Then when I got in English this girl told me that some 7th grade boys were talking about a girl out in gym with a black car coat on.

At night, I went down to Barbara’s and we K20E0 for the gossips”.
