“Today Barbara, Connie and I messed around down the street. At night we went to Ray’s party. Me and Connie was real nervous. We didn’t think Bonnie was coming to the party because she said she was going to a booze party with a guy but she said her brothers and Brian talked her into going to the booze party. All the kids who were at the party were Ray, Benny, Bria, Berne, Wayne, Butch, Dick, Bonnie, Barb, Connie, Priscilla, Malcolm, Patty, Me and Carol. When we first got to the party, Verne came over and sat down by me then he danced with me. Then we sat together then Connie came over and asked Verne to dance with her but he said ‘I got a cut on my hand.’ and Connie got real mad. Then I was dancing with Ray and Verne tried to cut in but Ray wouldn’t let him. So, they started fight but Dick broke it up. Then Verne went out and sat in the car. Every dance after that Connie danced with Brian and I was so mad at her for hurting Verne’s feelings. I started crying and I was cussing Connie out then Barbara and Bonnie was trying to get me to sound down Connie but then I went out and talked to Verne and I was out there for a long time talking about how lousy Connie treated Verne and I felt so sorry for Verne. I started crying. While I was talking to Verne.

Then he asked me to get him a cigarette.

So, I ran in and got one from Butch and then I told Verne that Ray was sorry and he wanted him to come back in. So, later he did. I was still crying my head off so I ran outside and sat on the swing and balled again. Butch kept asking me why I was crying and I kept telling him I felt like crying and I walked away from him. Then later, when I was sitting on the couch Butch came over and sat down and put him arm around me. So then Benny came over and pulled me away from him because I told Verne that I liked Benny. So Verne told Benny so then later Butch came up to me and asked me if I like Benny better than him and I didn’t answer him. Then later Connie and Verne made up to each other and I was so happy for them. I almost started crying again. Later, Dick and Barbara Connie and Verne Malcolm and Bonnie and Benny and me were all making out. Butch was real mad at me. He was cussing me out outside and he was smoking up a storm and he said you could never get him to smoke. Barbara said she hates Dick but I don’t know if it’s true. I was mad at Bonnie tonight because she kept trying to flirt with Benny when I was.”
