Does Laminating A Vintage Book Ruin It?

1. This is the original copy that I purchased.

You can see that it is stained and the binding is all torn up.

2. I pulled out the threads that were holding the pages and binding together.

3. Now, I have a disassembled, vintage book.

4. I take it to the cutting board.

I remove the edge that had the holes which made the binding for a clean cut.

5. This is what your pages will look like once cut.
