“Today Barbara and I went to La Jolla and she got a formal then we came back and we went out selling girl scout cookies in Mission Beach. It was very boring and she only sold 4 boxes of them.

At night we went to the North Park show to see Gidget.

It is the most winning picture. For some reason, I don’t think I like Larry as much as I used to. I don’t know why but I think he feels the same way about me but I don’t know for sure. I think I want someone to depend on more. I don’t know. I just don’t know.”

“Today I went to school. It was very boring. In History Randy asked me why I ran out in my car coat in gym and I said I didn’t have much choice. At night, Barbara and I went to the show. We weren’t there very long till Larry came. When Barb and I went up to the head we saw Jim then we told Larry and he went up and talked to Jim. Then I saw Randy. Barbara and I kept looking at him.

Later on that night Larry got kicked out for making-out with me because the adults complained they said.

I was really mad but I wasn’t in a very good mood so I didn’t care too much what happened to Larry.”

“Today I went to school and me Sally and Connie was at the principals office for 2 ½ hours. Connie got kicked out of school for a day. In gym during showers, we had a fire drill and most of the kids had their gym clothes on but I was in the showers so I put my car coat on and went outside and the pea greens were out there from the shops and everybody was looking at me. Then when I got in English this girl told me that some 7th grade boys were talking about a girl out in gym with a black car coat on.

At night, I went down to Barbara’s and we K20E0 for the gossips”.

“Tuesday I went to school and talk about a screwed up day, this is it, I swear. It was so boring.

His name is Randy. After school, Barbara and I went down the street as usual and walked all around. Very boring. About 4:00, Ian took us to La Jolla and Barbara and I said hi to all the guys. It was funny. Benny and Connie are supposed to be getting married. Ha Ha!”

“Today Barbara and I walked down the street and we saw Larry and Sonny. They stopped and Larry asked us if we wanted to drive down with him to drop Sonny off at his house but I said I didn’t want to go. Later, we saw Larry and Sonny. We were at the Frosty Shop and they came driving up behind us real fast and screeched the brakes.

Later we saw Larry driving down Grand so he stopped and asked us where we were going.

We said to the golf course so he asked us if he could take us down there. I waited for a while then we said O.K. Oh, before that, Larry said, ‘I’ll take you right down there’ and I said, ‘I know’. So, he took us down there. Later, we went out with Ian. Larry called me at night. At night, Ian and me went to the drive in to see ‘Sunrise at Campobello and ‘The Sundowners’.”

“Today in the morning Barbara had to sell girl scout cookies. So, later on, Ian and me went down to try and find her to pick her up but we couldn’t find her. At night, Barbara and I went to the show and Larry, Sonny and Ray was there. I wasn’t going to sit by them but Larry asked us to and he made Roy move down.

We just sat there for a long time but when he starting kissing me, I loved it.

Towards the end of the movie, Larry really started getting serious. He was whispering my name and he kept kissing me and so I turned my head so he couldn’t kiss me anymore. I don’t want him to get too serious. I love Larry, I really love him. Larry told me that Sonny likes me.”
