This kid is taking a classic, vintage toy and turning himself into a YouTube sensation over it! However, his only wish was to get the attention of the gaming sensation Minecraft who recently posted a video entitled ‘Developers talk about upcoming add-ons’. 12-year-old Luke Thoresen was the first to comment on this video clip! His comment was this:
‘If AGHQ replies to me I will solve a 3×3 Rubik’s cube WITH MY TOES and post it tomorrow!! Btw I’m a big fan.”
His plea did work and AGHQ replied to his comment. Their reply was this; “That’ll be interesting. . .”
This not only made Luke extremely happy but also obligated to do what now must be done and that is solving a Rubix’s cube with his toes! The video was posted one month ago but his story has been recently captivating several local news stations nationwide, making his video go viral!
According to his parents, Luke spent an entire year being sick for long periods of time and had to miss school and football which really brought him down. So, being able to solve a Rubix’s cube well has been a real boost for his morale! He can solve it with his hands in 37 seconds and with his feet in under 6 minutes.
When he posted the video, he wrote this: “In my first video I will be solving a Rubik’s cube with my FEET for my favorite you tuber AGHQ. If AGHQ is watching this you’re the best! Thank you all for watching!”.
When he first posted it, he said: “I’m gonna go to sleep and when I wake up if I have 500 views than I will make another video. Feel free to suggest any ideas for my vids. Thank you all so much for all the support and I will see you soon!”
