“Today I went to school and after school when Connie and I were walking home, Benny was waiting at the end of the fence. When we got up to him, Connie started talking to him but I wouldn’t even look at him.

Then he said to me, ‘Did you see Sonny yesterday?’

and I said, ‘No. Why? Should I have seen him?’”
