“Today I went to school and in Science Henry asked me if I like John and I said that I thought he was cute and Henry told him what I said then John kept looking at me. Then me and another kid had to stand up in front of the class for a quiz and John and Don, Henry and Sally kept looking and

Sally said, “I see your dimples.” and John started smiling and turned red.

Then in English we had a different teacher and he was real mean. Warren kept looking at me and smiling. We had a blast. Today after school, I went out with Barb and she said that Benny was real jealous of Warren and that Benny was cussing Warren out all day.”

“Today I went to school and after school I did not go out with Connie because Connie had to meet Brian after school. So, I went out with Barb and we saw Warren. Then he crossed the street to go home. He looked back and he kept looking back. He just stared at us. Then Barb said Benny told her that he was with Connie over the weekend and that he went over to her house last night and he said he didn’t like her. After last night, he had lip stick all over him and it wouldn’t come off. Barbara saw the lipstick on him so I said,

‘There’s nothing between Benny and me anymore.’

Today Barbara and I went down the street. When we went by the golf course, Sonny and the other guy was there. We kept looking at them. Then when we got across the street, they quit playing and started running after us.

So, Barbara walked fast up to the corner.

Then we ran down the next street. At night, we went to the show. We had fun but Sonny wasn’t there.

“Today I was going to go to school but it rained in the morning so Daddy didn’t want me to go. At night, I went to the show and Constance was there and Benny was too but he was sitting by Connie. He told me to come up and sit by him but I told him that he would have to move back with me but he didn’t until Verne got there. Later on, we saw that guy that was there lat Saturday night and Benny said his name is Sonny.

So, we kept looking at him.

Benny walked Connie home at night.”
