“Today we got up and packed our stuff and we drove till about 3:30 and then we rented a room in the Barn Motel in Brookings, Oregon. The motel had a heated pool so Barbara and I went swimming then later we went out and ate. Then Daddy and I played cards.

Then we watched television.”
