“Today when Barbara and I got up we ate breakfast then we all went for a hike up to the store. We had to cross creeks and everything. Mommy almost slipped in the water. When we got back from the store, we ate lunch and then after a while we went to the Big Bur swimming pool for a couple of hours. The water was real warm. There weren’t any cute boys there but we had fun. At night we ate and then Barbara and I caught tadpoles. We had 29 tadpoles and 3 little fish.

We are leaving Big Sur tomorrow and we will be on the road again.”
