Thursday

“Today Barbara and I fooled around in the shops for a while and then we went down to the Miniature golf course and talked to Jimmy for a long time. Then at night we went down there again and Malcolm was there.  I didn’t know whether I was glad or not because. . .

. . .I didn’t think he would talk to me, but he did, he talked and talked. . .

. . .Barbara and I played one game of golf and then Malcolm’s father came and Mr. Richards asked us if we wanted to play another game so we were on the 2nd hole and Barbara wanted Malcolm to play with us. So did I. So, she went and asked him to play and he said ‘yes’. I was very surprised. As we played, Mal kept looking at me. He would just stand there and stare at me. At ten ‘o clock, Mal went home and he said ‘goodbye’ to me. Amo Mal”
