“Today I didn’t go to school again. At night me and Barbara went to the show. When we were standing in line, Benny and Vern and Ray & Wayne came. Then Benny put his arm around me and then he said, ‘Oh! Sorry Vern.’ And he said, ‘Oh! That’s okay.’

And that really made me mad.

When we got in the show we sat down near the front and pretty soon they walked by us and they wouldn’t even look back. Later, we saw Bonnie and her brother so Barbara asked Bonnie to sit by us so she did. Then she said, ‘How come you’re no sitting with Vern?’ And I said, ‘Oh cause of Benny and Ray.’ We sat two rows behind Vern and them guys and Vern was pissed off at me. Ray came over and said, ‘Vern wants you to come up there.’ But I wouldn’t because he didn’t ask me. Vern is really pissed off at me and I felt the same way about him.”
