“Today at 12:00 o’clock we went down to Barbara’s house and we called up Larry. Then at 2:00 o’clock Barbara and I went to the show. We waited for Larry cause we talked him into going. Joy was there too. She said that Larry was a doll. Larry’s little sister and brother was there. They’re real sweet. At night I called Larry and we told him we would write him. Larry said he’s going to try to get in the Roxy Friday night. I hope there’s a good movie on at the drive-in next week.

Today in the show it was cold. “

“Today Barbara and I went down the street. Then later Ian took us down to the Jolly 4. We had a coke and we talked for a while there. Ian said we were going to the drive-in and he asked Larry to go. I don’t know if he is yet cause it is only 6:00 o’clock. Larry came to the drive-in. Barbara and Ian sat in the front and Larry and I sat in the back We all had a blast. After the show was over we went tot eh Jack-in-the-Box and then we went to Santa Clara point to eat. We all sat in Larry’s car and talked for a while. Ian went to sleep for a few minutes.

‘Suzie Wong’ was a real good movie and so was ‘The Millionaires’ with Sophia Lorin.”

A girl in school wanted to see if I could start crying for no reason at all.

So, I thought about if Larry didn’t like me. I might buy a set of dished for $20.00 but I’m not sure yet. I have to write Larry a letter.”

“In the morning at 4:30 we went to sunrise services. We got back at 9:30. Barbara and I went to bed. We had the radio on and they played all these songs that remind me of Larry so I balled again and I couldn’t stop. At 12 I got up and her folks were out. I called Ian to tell him my problems. Later Barbara and I went down the street then when Ian took us out, we went down to the Jolly 4 and Larry wasn’t down there. He didn’t say a word to me. When I got up to play a song, Ian said to Larry, ‘I heard you and Norma had an argument’. He said ‘yes’ and he didn’t expect to see me anywhere here there. We drank a coke and then Ian said let’s go. I didn’t want to so Larry said, ‘I’ll take them home.’ So, Ian left and that was at 15 to 5. We didn’t get home until 5:30 cause Larry took us up on the hill and he showed me how to drive. Larry couldn’t take it anymore. He said he changed his mind and he kissed me. He asked me if I was mad and I said I wasn’t mad before. So he kissed me again. I was just steering the car. Later we went down to Roy’s house but nobody was home. Larry drove us way up on the hill and down Emerald Street and down by Ingrahm and down by the beach.

Every time we stopped he would kiss me.

We also drove down by Ocean beach and then at %:30 he took us to the record rack and then we went home. At 6:15 we went down to the Roxy and we saw Larry. He had to pick up his little brother and sister. Later we called him and I talked to him for a while. He called me reckless. He said he would call me at about 9 but it’s 20 after now. I’m so lucky to get Larry back. Last night, every time I said or heard the word ‘love’ I started balling again. Larry just called me and we talked for 20 minutes. He told me to write him a letter.:

“Today we got up and we went and caught the bus at 8:30. We got up to Disneyland at about 9:30 or something like that. We had a lot of fun up there. I had my angel top on and everybody was looking at me. We saw Brenda Lu and Kathy Young up there. We got their autographs. When we go home, Larry met us and he said he would call later. When he called he didn’t talk to me.

Larry wants to break if off between us cause he thinks he’s too old.

Barbara said that Larry wasn’t going to see me anymore. I cried my eyes out in bed. Barb doesn’t know cause I told her it didn’t bother me at all.
